London will be getting all shook up again in October as the annual celebration of London’s best tipples, London Cocktail Week, returns. This year, the festival is going digital and ditching the wristbands, with festival passes activated through the DrinkUp.London app. A £10 pass entitles discerning drinkers to £6 cocktails in many of the capital’s best bars throughout the seven-day celebration. Bars already taking part in the festival include Bar Termini Centrale and The Vault of Soho.

As previously, Old Spitalfields Market will be LCW HQ for the week, although this year, access must be booked in advance through the app and will cost festival goers a further £5. As always, expect special events, masterclasses and pop-ups all across London from internationally renowned bartenders. You can blend your own whisky at Chivas Regal’s pop-up bar The Blend, drink inside a copper still that usually makes gin but has been turned into a bar by G’Vine, try cocktails made from waste ingredients from 30 participating Cocktail Week bars at Trash Tiki’s pub pop-up and even get yourself inked for free as Sailor Jerry partners with London tattoo parlour Cloak & Dagger for the festival. Or simply sip cocktails from world reknowned bars running takeovers in London throughout the weeklong celebration of London’s best mixed drinks.
