This page answers the most common questions about staying at NX London Hostel. We aim to be transparent and clear so guests know exactly what to expect before arriving. If you don’t see your question here, our team is happy to help.

Booking a bed vs. booking a room
When you book a bed in a shared dormitory, you are booking one bed — not the room. Shared dormitories are our lowest-priced option, and bed allocation is made by management based on availability.
Travelling as a group, family, or couple?
If you want to be accommodated together in the same room, you must book a private room.
Booking several beds in a shared dormitory does not guarantee that your party will be placed in the same dormitory, on the same floor, or next to one another. We are unable to hold specific beds, and we cannot move other guests on arrival to bring a party together. Guests who wish to be certain of staying in the same room should book a private room, where the whole room is reserved for your party alone.
“Private” rooms and bathrooms
A private room means exclusive use of the room itself. With one exception, it does not mean private bathroom facilities.
All bathrooms and kitchens at NX London Hostel are shared and located in the hallways. Guests are not restricted to the facilities on their own floor and may use any available shared bathroom in the building.
We have a one en-suite room, available exclusively through our own website and subject to very limited availability. If it is not booked specifically and by name, your room will have shared bathroom facilities.
Beds
All beds at NX London Hostel are bunk beds. This applies to both shared dormitories and private rooms.
Female and mixed dormitories
Female dormitories can only be occupied by female guests. If you book a bed in a female dormitory and are not eligible to occupy it, your booking will need to be adjusted to a mixed dormitory before you can be accommodated, and a mandatory room adjustment fee will apply. Please check the dormitory type carefully before completing your booking. If you notice an error after booking, contact us at frontdesk@nxlondon.com as soon as possible so we can try to arrange the adjustment in advance.
We are here to make your stay smooth, safe, and memorable.
