Booking & Rooms

Q: What types of rooms do you offer?

We offer a range of options to suit every traveler, from shared dormitories (4–10 beds, including female-only dorms) to private single, twin, and family rooms. Extra beds in private rooms are available for £20 per night, subject to availability.

Q: Can I book directly with you?

Yes! Booking directly on our website ensures the best price and access to exclusive promotions (look out for seasonal codes).

Q: Are linens and towels included?

Absolutely. Fresh linen and towels are provided free of charge.

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement?

Yes. Children under 6 years of age cannot be accommodated under any circumstances. Minors aged 6 and above may stay in a private room only with a parent/guardian or authorised adult.


 

Amenities & Services

Q: Is breakfast included?

Yes. A free self-service breakfast is provided daily from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the first-floor common area. Please tidy up after yourself so everyone can enjoy the space.

Q: Can I cook or store food?

Yes, we have shared kitchens and a dining area. But please remember:

  • Food and drinks are not permitted in rooms — a £50 fine applies.

  • Free snacks and refreshments are for guests’ use onsite only.

  • Always label your food before placing it in the fridge.

Q: Do you provide laundry services?

Yes. Laundry is staff-operated only. Guests can leave their laundry at reception, and we will wash and dry it for £7 per load. Machines are not guest-accessible.

Q: Do you provide lockers?

Yes. Lockers are available on the first-floor landing.

  • Rental is £2 per night or £10 per week, payable in advance.

  • £10 refundable key deposit is also required.

Q: Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes. Fast and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hostel.

Q: Do you have common areas?

Yes. We have two self-catering kitchens and a common area, which is great for relaxing, socializing, or planning your next adventure.


 

Location & Transport

Q: How close are you to public transport?

We are just a short walk from both, New Cross Gate and New Cross Station, with easy connections to central London. Several 24-hour bus stops are also nearby.

Q: Are there shops and restaurants nearby?

Yes. You’ll find supermarkets, halal options, and plenty of local eateries within walking distance.


 

Check-In & Check-Out

Q: What are your check-in hours?

  • Standard check-in: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM

  • Early check-in (from 1:00 PM): £10 per person (pre-booked, subject to availability)

  • Late check-in (1:00 AM – 3:00 AM): £10 per reservation, must be pre-arranged and paid before midnight

  • After 3:00 AM: check-in not available unless agreed in writing in advance

Q: What time is check-out?

  • Standard check-out: before 11:00 AM

  • Late check-out (until 3:00 PM): £15 per person, if booked in advance

  • Departures after 3:00 PM: charged as an extra night + £15

Q: Do you offer express check-out?

Yes. Guests may drop their card and locker key in the express box near reception. Deposits are refunded once the key is returned (in cash before 1:00 AM or via bank transfer if left in the box).


 

Luggage

Q: Can I drop luggage before check-in?

Yes. We offer luggage drop-off from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM for £5 per bag.

Q: Can I store luggage after check-out?

Yes. Storage is available until 11:00 PM on the day of departure, also for £5 per bag.


 

Cleanliness & Safety

Q: How often are rooms and bathrooms cleaned?

Bathrooms and kitchens are cleaned regularly throughout the day. Guests are expected to maintain tidiness in shared spaces.

Q: How about safety?

CCTV operates throughout the building, and entry is by regularly updated door codes (one for the main entrance, one for rooms). Guests are responsible for keeping codes private and valuables secure.

Q: What about noise?

We are located above a live music pub, so some rooms may experience noise. Free earplugs are available at reception.


 

Groups & Long-Term Stays

Q: Do you accept group bookings?

Yes. Groups of 8+ are welcome but subject to our Group Reservation Policy (including a 50% non-refundable deposit).

Q: Do you host long-term guests?

Yes. We host both short-term and long-term stays. Extended stays must comply with house rules and are subject to management approval/availability.

Q: What are your house rules?

  • No smoking, vaping, or alcohol inside (£50 fine).

  • No food or drink in bedrooms (£50 fine).

  • Kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas must be kept clean.

  • Respect staff and fellow guests — aggressive or disruptive behavior may lead to eviction without refund.

Q: What if I find a cheaper price elsewhere?

We’ll match it, and add a 10% credit toward your next visit.
